EATP represents the interests of those industries involved
in the manufacture of textile polyolefins:
- Starting from the basic product (Polymer),
- Through to fibre and yarn manufacture,
- To the finished woven, nonwoven or knitted product.
The objectives of the association are:
- To promote the use of polyolefins
for textiles applications
- To establish communications throughout
Europe on textile polyolefins
- To investigate issues which may
affect the Textile Polyolefins Industry, and take
appropriate initiatives as the official representative
for the industry at EU-level, CEN, ISO or similar
- To develop and promote the interests
of the Textile Polyolefins Industry and highlight
key issues such as Fire Resistance in finished products,
Toxicology, Ecological Matters, Recycling Issues,
Legal and Regulating Issues in the Wider European
Market, Anti-Dumping cases and others
- To co-ordinate links with other
related associations
- To provide services to member companies,
including market information and seminars
